Day November 10th. 2010 Santiago - Puerto Montt - Puerto Varas
Flight from Santiago de Chile to Puerto Montt. Arrival and transfer to hotel.
After a light lunch. we will visiting Puerto Montt.
We will share the delight of shopping in the fresh seafood and local produce market of Angelmó in Puerto Montt, as well as a short visit to the local handicraft stalls the area is famous for. Driving back on the scenic route to Puerto Varas we stop at a typical organic German farm to buy fresh vegetables, fruit and flowers.
Here you will see how the owner has grown her food in the same fashion as her ancestors. The luxury of Chile’s soil needs no fertilizers aside from those she has at hand.
After we will also give a short chocolate demonstration in, Fine Foods & Gifts where we will pick up some chocolate for dessert, and leave time for an afternoon of shopping and browsing town.
Informal cocktail and dinner, supper at The Barn, renovated home in an informal atmosphere we will share with you the preparation of the food we bought on our outing.

Day November 11th. 2010 Puerto Varas – Chiloé Island
Breakfast. Full day excursion from the hotel to the famous ChiloeIsland.We go through Puerto Montt to Pargua, a little fishermen village, where their habitants work with the sea urchin extraction.
We will board a little ship to cross the Chacao Channel, watching the sea birds and charming “Toninas” (Small Dolphins) which will come along during 30 minutes of travel.We will taste a TypicalChileanSea food lunch (Curanto). After lunch, we will continue our trip through the coast line which will direct us to a fishermen cove, in front of Puñihuil Island.This is the only place all over the Chilean Coast where you will find Magellan and Humboldt Penguins.
From here, it is possible to take an optional 30 minutes Zodiac Crossing ex en zodiac 30 minutes by the surroundings (Additional cost USD 10.-), Return to Puerto Varas.

Day November 12th. 2010 Puerto Varas – Frutillar – Puerto Octay
Breakfast. Visit to a typical Chilean Milk Farm where you may find Holstein cattle.
Berries fields and Jersey cows Milk farm.
Farm lunch. After lunch visit to a Lavender plantation,where we can taste an exquisite “lavender tea”.
By the evening, return to the hotel in Puerto Varas.
Overnight in Puerto Varas.

Day November 13th. 2010 Puerto Varas – Osorno Vulcano - Petrohué
Breakfast. Departure from the Hotel surrounding the Coast of Llanquihue Lake.
Through the International route from Puerto Varas (Chile) to S.C. de Bariloche (Argentina), crossing beautiful places such as PescadoRiver, where you may find “Truchas” during fishing season.
From here we continue through Port Arthur and Los Riscos, with the huge Osorno Volcano as a background. We will arrive to Ensenada. We continue through Vicente Perez Rosales National Park to Río Petrohué Cascades and Todos los Santos Lake where we can enjoy a typical Chilean barbecue “Asado al Palo”. After lunch, we will visit a Jersey cows Milk Farm.
Return to the Hotel in Puerto Varas.

Day November 14th. 2010 Puerto Varas - Puerto Montt
Breakfast. Transfer from Hotel to Puerto Montt Airport
