Day 02 Easter Island - Full day Tour Anakena – Rano Raraku
Breakfast. This tour will take you to the south-east and northeast coast of the island to visit the first platform called Ahu Akahanga, formed by 4 platforms, 12 Moai, 8 pukao.
From there it is possible to appreciate one of the best preserved villages on the island. Continuing towards Rano Raraku volcanic crater formed from consolidated volcanic ash, Rano Raraku is a visual record of moai design vocabulary and technological innovation, where 397 moai remain. Lunch in the picnic area on the slopes of this volcano. We continue with the magnificent platform called Ahu tongariki, the most amazing ahu on the island, with 15 huge moai.  We continue towards Ahu Te Pito Kura, It has the biggest statue erected in an Ahu, the moai PARO, of 10 mts. and 85 tons with a PUKAO of 11.5 tons. It is no longer standing, but we can see its large size despite being split into three parts. It is believed that it was the last statue to be demolished around 1840. Next to the AHU is a large spherical stone that is identified with the navel of the world (TE PITO O TE HENUA), which according to legend was brought by Hotu Matua´a´s boat. The last point will be visiting the Anakena beach with white sands and palm trees in the background. In this area in addition to the wonder of the water, there are important archaeological remains for their conservation status as is the platform of Ahu Nau Nau It has 5 moai with Pukao and 2 broken. The back of the moai and some stones on the back wall have petroglyphs. During the excavations, an extraordinary eye of white coral with red scoria pupil was found, it is exhibited in the Museum of the Island.

Day 03 Easter Island - Half day Tours Orongo and Half day tours Akivi
Breakfast. Breakfast. AM half day tours – 3 hours Meeting Point: at the Hotel.
We will start the visit at Rano Kau Volcano, where there is a large lagoon, with small islands of totora and abundant vegetation and micro fauna. At the top of the volcano we find the ceremonial village of Orongo, where the bird man ritual took place, which designated who would be the next king, spiritual and political leader for a period of one year. This sacred figure with the body of a shrunken man and a great bird's beak is sculpted in a large number of engraved stones. This area has several houses built with flagstone with a spectacular view of the cliff and in front of the three isoltes of Motu iti, Motu Nui and Motu Kao Kao, where the competitors should arrive: descending the dangerous cliff, swimming on totora floats, search the egg and go back all the way back. A true odyssey that we can understand only by being in this imposing place. As we will be in a high area of the island, and near the town, we can see the dimensions of the only area inhabited by Rapa Nui, the length of its landing strip, and the length of the island from the viewpoint to Hanga Roa. Then we go to Vinapu, archaeological site which is characterized by its large basalt slabs made to fit carefully similar to Inca constructions of Cusco.

PM Half day tour - Akivi Half day Tour -  Approx. 3 Hrs
Meeting Point: at the Hotel. During this circuit we will visit Ahu Akivi, it is one of the few platforms where the moais seem to look towards the sea, with 7 moais in the present it is said that they represent the 7 explorers sent by King Hotu Matu¨a before his colinizer trip. After this visit we will continue to Puna Pau, a small crater of red scoria in which the Pukao, huts or crowns of the moai were made. Since Te Pahu cave is no longer visited because of the bad state of road (we passed over the lava cavities and that is now in danger of collapse), and now we visit a platform very different from the others on the Island, because it is a single moai erect, but with the particularity that has 20 fingers: Ahu Huri a Urenga. It is also perfectly aligned to the winter solstice, and it is at this point that people meet at the right time. Back to your Hotel.
