1 Santiago-Balmaceda- Puerto Chacabuco
Reception at Balmaceda Airport and transfer to Hotel
Loberias del Sur, located in Puerto Chacabuco. To get
there you will go across part of the Austral Road, which
goes through Llanquihue and Palena provinces, on the
side of the continent, up to Aysen region, passing by
the beautiful city of Coyhaique. On the ride to the
hotel, you will have the opportunity to appreciate a
small sample of this astonishing landscape that makes
part of these latitudes, as we will cross the Andes
mountain range through the Chilean Patagonia.
Arrival to Hotel Loberias del Sur having the beautiful
bay of Puerto Chacabuco as scenery. You will stay three
nights in the hotel. At nightfall a Welcome Dinner will
be offered in the hotel, including appetizers, main
course, dessert and coffee.

Day 2 San Rafael Lagoon Glacier
At 8:00 a.m. you will take part of an unforgettable
trip on board of a catamaran that will take you across
islands, channels, and fiords inside unimaginable scenery
until reaching the marvelous Laguna San Rafael at about
2:00 p.m. The main tour attraction is the peacefulness
of this lagoon with a surface of 170 square kilometers,
floes and snowdrifts letting millenary ice rocks fall
down constantly and thunderously. Then on board of a
zodiac you will get in closer contact with San Rafael
snowdrift and a number of floes moving around. Upon
the end of the excursion you will taste a whisky on
the rocks with cubes of ice being more than 20,000 years
old. You will stay there for 2 - 3 hours and then will
go back to Puerto Chacabuco, where you will be at about
9:00 p.m. Back in the hotel, you will enjoy a refreshing
relax time after a long day full of magic and unforgettable
emotions.

Día 03 Puerto Chacabuco - Balmaceda
- Puerto Montt - Puerto Varas
Visit to Aiken del Sur private Park At 10:00 a.m. in
the morning a bus will take you from Hotel Loberias
del Sur to the Aiken del Sur Private Park across a landscape
of unique beauty in the Patagonia. You will start there
an excursion combining adventure, close contact with
Patagonian virgin nature, emotion, and the tasteful
local food (Patagonian barbecues).

After a well-deserved night rest in the comfortable
guestrooms at Hotel Loberías del Sur and a breakfast,
visitors will be taken to Balmaceda Airport for the
flight back to Puerto Montt.

Day 04 Puerto Varas
Breakfast. We begin with a the city tour of Puerto Montt
, the capital of the Lake District. Puerto Montt was
founded in 1853 by German colonists on the site of an
indigenous Mapuche community. Downtown we shall take
time to walk about the main squares and historical monuments.
Afterward we shall visit the port itself including the
fish market of Angelmo where there is a large handicraft
market full of artisans and lots of fresh shellfish.
From Angelmo we continue on to Puerto Varas where we
shall be staying (one half hour north on the shores
of Lake Llanquihue.) Once here we shall enjoy a brief
tour of the City of Roses as it has come to be called
because of the tremendous variety of roses all over
town. Afterward, we shall take you to your selected
hotel and you will have the rest of the day to spend
at your leisure. After dinner you might want to stroll
along the shore of Lake Llanquihue.

Day 05 Puerto Varas - Peulla - Bariloche
Breakfast. In the morning we set out driving along the
southern shore of the lake toward Ensenada. Even the
hardest of adventurers will find it difficult not to
stop and take a few photos as we approach the Osorno
Volcano. Our first real stop however will be at the
Saltos de Petrohue. This serie of rapids and waterfall
were formed a long time ago by the cooling lava from
the volcano towering behind them. They form an impressive
sculpture of extruded volcanic rock shaped by thousands
of years of thundering water flow. Upon arriving at
the landing of Petrohue we shall board the catamaran
and prepare for our crossing of Lake Todos los Santos
or All Saints' Lake. The lake is surrounded by high
mountains whose lower slopes are thickly forested. As
we pull away from the landing and the mouth of the Petrohue
River, the view is quickly stolen away by the tremendous
size and proximity of ice-capped Osorno Volcano behind
us. The rest of the morning we'll be sailing. To the
south high above the forested shore you will see the
peculiar shape of Mt. Puntiagudo and a series of waterfalls.
We shall arrive in Peulla (pronounced p-way-a), at the
eastern end of the lake about lunchtime. This is the
heart of National Park Vicente Perez Rosales. Here we
shall enjoy a lovely hike to the Cascada de La Novia
or, the Bride's Waterfall, amidst native growth of the
'Valdivian Rainforest". Departure by motor coach
over the Perez Rosales Pass and into Argentina. On the
Argentine side we meet a ferry which takes us across
Lake Frias and afterward a bus shuttles us to the final
boat ride across Lake Nahuel Huapi. This trip is a crossing
pioneered years ago for its beauty. It is, in a word,
breathtaking. Arriving in Bariloche, we shall transfer
to your selected hotel.

Day 06 Bariloche
Breakfast. Day to be spent at your leisure with time
to explore Bariloche and its surroundings.

Day 07 Bariloche-Puerto Montt
Breakfast. Transfer from the hotel to the bus station.
Bus ticket from Bariloche to Puerto Montt, and transfer
from the bus station to the Hotel.

Day 08 Puerto Montt -
Punta Arenas - Puerto Natales
Breakfast. Transfer from the Hotel to the airport in
Puerto Montt.
Transfer from the airport and on the way to Puerto Natales
we will visit Pinguins aerea, 65 km away from Punta
Arenas (40 miles) on the Otway Sound, penguins come
to nest every year between November and March. The species
found here is the Magellan Penguin and to reach the
nesting site, there is a walk of 2 km (1.2 miles) across
the coastal land to this sanctuary. It is possible to
watch the penguins close up, courting and caring for
their young, depending on the time of year.

Day 09 Puerto Natales - Excursion
Torres del Paine
Breakfast. Departure 07:30am to the Torres del Paine
National Park is renowned as one of the most beautiful
and remote places on the planet. Over 160,000 hectares
of unspoilt wilderness comprising of glaciers, icefields
and lush green forests. Wildlife is abundant here, and
includes huemels, condors and guanacos. Following a
three hour drive, you will arrive at the Torres del
Paine National Park which was declared a biosphere reserve
by UNESCO in 1978. The most important attraction is
the central mountain range where you can see the Horns
of Paine and also the needles which were formed by the
action of the many glaciers which surrounded the rock.
There are also many impressive lakes, glaciers, waterfalls
and an extremely varied flora and fauna which makes
this one of the most famous places in Chile to visit.
Lunch in Hosteria Lago Grey included. On the way back
to Puerto Natales visit the Milodon Cave where the remains
of a large herbivore were found who lived in this area
more than 12 thousand years ago.

Day 10 Puerto Natales - Sailing
Balmaceda and Serrano Glaciers
Breakfast. You will embark on a small motor boat sail
and along the Last Hope Sound where you can see black
necked swans, fauna of the region and colonies of sea
lions.
Following a journey of approximately 3 hours arrive
at Monte Balmaceda where you can see the glacier of
the same name. Time for viewing and photos here before
continuing to the Serrano Glacier. A 15 minute walk
takes you to the north side of the mountain for a great
view of this fabulous glacier. Lunch in the Estancia
Perales on the way back and return to Puerto Natales.

Day 11 Puerto Natales -
Punta Arenas - San Pedro de
Atacama
Breakfast. Transfer from Puerto Natales to the airport.
Reception and transfer to San Pedro de Atacama, from
the airport to Calama.

12 San Pedro de Atacama
Breakfast. At 09:00am we will depart to visit the most
representative archeological places that show the development
of the Atacamenian culture. Discover the origin of this
culture, visit the archeological monument called “Aldea
de Tulor”, 2,800 years old. Relive, accompanied
by native Atacamenian guides, the beginning of sedentary
life of the first inhabitants of the Atacama Desert.
We finish our trip through history visiting the Tambo
de Catarpe, administrative center built by the Incas
to collect taxes and spread the traditions of the Empire
of the Sun in Atacama. Back to the Hotel 1:00pm.
Excursion to the Atacama Salt Lake, departure 4:00pm.
Toconao is a small picturesque village, part of the
Andean culture, where you will appreciate beautiful
handicrafts made of volcanic stone, cactus wood and
llama wool. Then, accompanied by our skilled guides,
travel through the vast Atacama Salt Lake, one of the
world's largest. Discover how life survives in the salty
environment. Observe the beautiful and surprising flamingos,
one of the best-adapted birds to the typically harsh
environment and climate. Discover the micro-organic
life that thrives in salt concentrations even higher
than that found in seawater, life that allows many insects,
reptiles and birds to subsist, which make this harsh
plateau an extraordinary habitat full of surprises.

Day 13 San Pedro de Atacama
Departure. Morning day to be spent at your leisure with
time to explore San Pedro de Atacama
4:30pm Our trip will take us to see the capricious forms
of salt and clay, as you will see in the “Three
Marias” area.There you will be visiting the geological
shapes located in one of the world's driest and most
inhospitable zones, the Atacama Desert. You will appreciate
the great molding power of the earth's natural forces,
be amazed by nature's intricate work over thousands
of years, contemplate and photograph incomparable sculptures.
Enjoy an exciting experience in the salt caves, surprising
shapes in the middle of the salt mountain range. The
highlight of your desert adventure will be watching
the Atacamenian sunset, opening you senses to the wonderful
landscapes and colors of the Andes mountains, with the
Licancabur Volcano as the millenary witness of another
day ending in the desert.
Day 14 San Pedro de Atacama - Calama - Santiago
Breakfast. 04:00am. Very early in the morning we will
travel 100 kilometers from San Pedro of Atacama up into
the Andes mountain range. Breakfast upon arrival. There
you will experience one of the most astonishing phenomenon
produced by nature, see contrasting colors produced
by the steam columns in the highest geothermal field
in the world. After greeting the father sun, we will
continue on to a luscious valley to visit a lovely village
located at 3,200 meters, Caspana. Lunch is included.
When we leave the village, the extent of the desert
is impressive, we confront the driest desert in the
world. In the midst of this lonely landscape we encounter
the Inca Coya Lagoon, a few kilometers before the town
of Chiu Chiu. and transfer to the airport.
