Patagonia Camp
Patagonia Camp has 15 “yurts”, completely
independent tents with private bathroom and terrace, with
a beautiful view of the El Toro Lake and Paine Mountains.
Each tent is equipped with double beds, heating system
and its Patagonian decoration gives a unique and unforgettable
experience.
You can enjoy the meals prepared by our chef in our dinning
room while observing the lake and the mountains or relax
in the lounge and bar with a Pisco Sour or a glass of
the worldwide famous Chilean wine. Of course you are invited
to our Quincho where you will be able to take part in
the preparation of the typical “Magellan lamb“.

Day
1 Punta Arenas – Estancia El Palenque – Patagonia
Camp
Transfer from Punta Arenas to Patagonia Camp.
From Punta Arenas, we’ll pass through Patagonian steppe,
a wide-open, vast territory where it is possible to view regional
birds such as the Darwin’s Rhea and the Upland Goose.
Along the way we will stop at the Estancia El Palenque, where
our guests can take part in the preparation of a Magellanic
lamb barbecue and learn about Patagonia traditions and the
activities of a typical Patagonian ranch.
Arrive at Patagonia Camp in the afternoon.
Day 2 Patagonia Camp – Salto Del Toro – Laguna
Bonita – Patagonia Camp
Following breakfast we begin our half-day hike to Salto del
Toro, a beautiful waterfall that embodies the magic of Patagonia
nature. This hike provides an excellent introduction to Torres
del Paine.
Following lunch, we will take an afternoon trek to Laguna
Bonita.
This easy trail begins at the Patagonia Camp and continues
along the lake Laguna Bonita, whose dark, calm waters provide
an astonishing reflection of the snow-capped peaks and beech
forests that surround the Patagonia Camp.
Dinner and lodging at Patagonia Camp. Day
3 Patagonia Camp–Mirador del Toro–Playa Grey–Salto
Grande–Mirador Cuernos–Patagonia Camp
Following breakfast, this full-day excursion to Torres del
Paine National Park will take us to the park’s main
attractions and lookout points to view and photograph the
mountains and lakes that have made this park famous worldwide.
The excursion begins at the Mirador del Toro, a lookout point
with a spectacular view of Lake Toro and the Paine Massif,
and continues to the Grey sector where we will cross a hanging
bridge over the Pingo River and arrive at the Grey beach,
to view the electric blue icebergs that have broken off of
Glacier Grey. From here we can see Glacier Grey in the distance,
an enormous, 6km-wide wall of ice. The excursion then carries
on to the Salto Grande and a short trek to the Mirador Cuernos,
a lookout point with up-close and direct views of the Paine
Massif.

Day 4 Patagonia Camp – Puerto Natales – Punta
Arenas
Following breakfast, transfer to Punta Arenas. End

From Patagonia Camp there are a variety of interesting
alternatives to enjoy this almost untouched and wild
patagonian nature. Among these alternatives, we offer interesting
hikes, horse back rides, excellent fly fishing
and bird watching.
For groups we also offer the Observer 10, an all terrain
vehicle equiped for rougher excursions for up to 16
people.

Salto Del Toro Hike (HD)
Near Patagonia Camp you will find this beautiful waterfall
demonstrating the natural magic of the patagonia.
This is an excellent way to start your tour through the
area and get closer to one of the purest regions on the
planet.
Laguna Bonita Hike (HD)
This interesting and beautiful circuit starts at Patagonia
Camp and continues along the shores of the laguna
Bonita with its calm, dark waters. The view is overwhelming
with the reflexions on the water of the snow
capped mountains and the Lenga forests surrounding the camp.
Bird Watching in the Patagonian Forests (HD)
Around Patagonia Camp you will find beautiful Lenga forests
where elegant Wood Peckers, White Throated
Caracaras, White Browed Ground Tyrants and other species
come to nest and feed, taking advantage of the
water to play and socialize.
Fishing At The End Of The World (HD)
At Patagonia Camp we have pristine lakes, lagoons and rivers
where you can enjoy fishing for trout, and
salmon while you experience the beautiful nature around
you.
Horseback riding to Lake Porteño (HD)
Cross from Patagonia Camp to Complejo Torres del Paine Ranch,
going along the Laguna del Espejo and the
beautiful Porteño Lake with our tame and friendly
horses. Enjoy spectacular views of the Patagonian hills
and
the most beautiful landscapes at the end of the world. Return
to Patagonia Camp.
Sailing To The Grey Glacier (HD – Navigation)
A beautiful boat ride on Lake Grey among the iceburgs that
have broken off from the enormous Grey Glacier.
This glaceir, part of the Southern Ice Fields impacts visitors
with its 30 meter high, 6 km wide ice wall with it's
beautiful blue tones.
Full Day Torres del Paine (FD – in vehicle)
A full day excursion through the Torres del Paine National
Park, touring some of its best and most popular
attractions and viewpoints from where you can take in the
amazing view and photograph the mountains and
lakes that make this park world famous.
Full day to the Base of Torres del Paine (FD vehículo-trekking)
The base of las Torres is without a doubt one of the main
attractions in the park. The hike begins at the foot of
the marvelous Valle del Rio Ascencio from where you hike
up through the age old forests to the impressive
Morrena Glacer. This is the last challenge before getting
to the lagoon at the base of las Torres where you can
have an excellent view of these rock formations. |
