Day 01 Punta Arenas- Puerto Natales
Arrival in Punta Arenas and transfer to Puerto Natales, on the way we will visit the Pinguins Colony, 65 km away from Punta Arenas (40 miles) on the Otway Sound, penguins come to next every year between November until March. The species found here is the Magellan Penguin and to reach the nesting site, there is a walk of 2 km (1.2 miles) across the coastal land to this sanctuary. It is possible to watch the penguins close up, courting and caring for their young, depending on the time of year. After arrival to Puerto Natales.

Day 02 Puerto Natales- Torres del Paine
Buffet breakfast. Pick up from your Hotel in Puerto Natales at 7:30 AM to begin full-day program towards Torres del Paine and our visit to the National Park, where we will have a nice panoramic view of “Paine” Mountain Range as welcome. Also we will admire lakes as “Sarmiento” ,”Nordenskjold”, and “Pehoe” . Its “fauna” will be present through “huanacos”, “foxes” among others and big variety of birds of easy observation during the trip. A short trek will take us to a big waterfall called “Salto Grande” which is part of park hidrographical net. Later ,retaking the main way, it access to CONAF central office, to continue to Lake Grey , where after to walk ( 30 minutes) through a “millenium” forest we will get to its beach to admire a great number leading offs floes from glacier. A “lunch” is included in the service.

Day 03 Torres del Paine
Buffet breakfast. Day at leisure for optional tours.

Day 04 Torres del Paine-Puerto Natales
Buffet breakfast. Departing from the Hostel, a vehicle will take us to the banks of Rio Serrano where we will aboard Zodiac inflatables that will take us down stream. After a while we will arrive to a waterfall which forces us to make a transfer to a second Zodiac, this one will take us down to Ultima Esperanza Sound. During the journey we will be able to observe, in the distance, the beautiful images of Thyndal glacier which also is a part of the Southern Ice Field. At Ultima Esperanza Sound we‘ll step on land and following a path amidst the thick forest we‘ll get to the base of Glaciar Serrano which calves to a lagoon surrounded by an evergreen forest. Lunch included, and sailing back to Puerto Natales.

Day 05 Puertpo Natales -Excurison to the Perito Moreno Glacier
Breakfast. Full day excursion to the Perito Moreno Glacier (lunch not included). Located in Los Glaciares National Park, this imposing ice river of 3 km wide and 50 mt high descends from the Patagonian Continental Ice provoking during its slow forward movements, ice cracks and explosions. Because of its breathtaking beauty and unusual behaviour it was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Back to Puerto Natales.

Day 06 Puerto Natales-Punta Arenas

Day 06 Puerto Natales-Airport
Breakfast. AM Visit the lookout point to view the Strait of Magellan, Tierra del Fuego and the town. Then head for the main sites of the town, including the Plaza Muñoz Gamero, which is surrounded by mansions from the era of the great cattle dealers and the Monument to Magellan with the native Indians (Onas) around the foot.
Visit the regional Silesian Museum which has a wonderful display on the history and habitat of the Yaganes, Onas and Alacalufes, the natives of the region. Visit the monument to the shepherd and the cemetery with its impressive mausoleums and gardens. The Museum of Magellan was inaugurated in 1983 and is situated in the Braun Menéndez palace which has an important collection of objects which tell the history of the region.
