01 Punta Arenas
Transfer from the airport to the Hotel in Punta Arenas
Overnight in Punta Arenas.
Day 02 Punta Arenas – Puerto Natales
Breakfast.
AM Visit the lookout point to view the Strait of Magellan,
Tierra del Fuego and the town. Then head for the main sites of
the town, including the Plaza Muñoz Gamero, which is surrounded
by mansions from the era of the great cattle dealers and the Monument
to Magellan with the native Indians (Onas) around the foot.
Visit the regional Silesian Museum which has a wonderful display
on the history and habitat of the Yaganes, Onas and Alacalufes,
the natives of the region. Visit the monument to the shepherd
and the cemetery with its impressive mausoleums and gardens. The
Museum of Magellan was inaugurated in 1983 and is situated in
the Braun Menéndez palace which has an important collection
of objects which tell the history of the region.
PM Transfer from Punta Arenas to Puerto Natales (3 hours) by public bus.) Transfer from the Bus station to the Hotel.

DAY 03
PUERTO NATALES-Excursion Torres del Paine
Breakfast. Departure 07:30am to the Torres del Paine
National Park is renowned as one of the most beautiful and remote
places on the planet. Over 160,000 hectares of unspoilt wilderness
comprising of glaciers, icefields and lush green forests. Wildlife
is abundant here, and includes huemels, condors and guanacos.
Following a three hour drive, you will arrive at the Torres del
Paine National Park which was declared a biosphere reserve by
UNESCO in 1978. The most important attraction is the central mountain
range where you can see the Horns of Paine and also the needles
which were formed by the action of the many glaciers which surrounded
the rock. There are also many impressive lakes, glaciers, waterfalls
and an extremely varied flora and fauna which makes this one of
the most famous places in Chile to visit. Lunch in Hosteria Lago
Grey included. On the way back to Puerto Natales visit the Milodon
Cave where the remains of a large herbivore were found who lived
in this area more than 12 thousand years ago.

DAY 04 PUERTO NATALES-Excursion Glaciar Perito Moreno
Breakfast. From Puerto Natales depart early 07:00am. morning towards
Calafate crossing the border to Argentina at Cerro Castillo and
Cancha Carrera. At midday approx. you will arrive at Calafate
and time for lunch (not included) before continuing to the glacier,
a journey of 1½ hours. In 1981 UNESCO declared National
Park Los Glaciares a World Heritage Site. It is an unforgettable
experience. There is a stop of 2 ½ hours at the glacier
to view the amazing ice mass and walk on some of the trails in
the area. Return to Calafate where there is a 30 minute stop for
refreshments or shopping before returning to Puerto Natales, arriving
back at approximately 11:00pm.

DAY 05 PUERTO NATALES - Excursion y Navegación
Balmaceda y Serrano
Breakfast.You will embark on a small motor boat sail and along
the Last Hope Sound where you can see black necked swans, fauna
of the region and colonies of sea lions.
Following a journey of approximately 3 hours arrive at Monte Balmaceda
where you can see the glacier of the same name. Time for viewing
and photos here before continuing to the Serrano Glacier. A 15
minute walk takes you to the north side of the mountain for a
great view of this fabulous glacier. Lunch in the Estancia Perales
on the way back and return to Puerto Natales.

DAY 06 PUERTO NATALES - Punta Arena's airport
Breakfast. Transfer from Puerto Natales to the airport by public bus.
