C.D.W COVERAGES AND GENERAL CONDITIONS
Passengers involved in accidents will have to report the incident in the nearest police station, as soon as possible. There, he/she will receive a sort of voucher, wich will have the register of the accident. In order to activate the CDW coverage, this report must be presented at Budget’s offices before 24 hours since the accident occurred.
CDW coverage for damages of the rented car
This coverage is for damages in our vehicles or any other third party involved in the accident. It includes:
a) Total protection from cero to total loss.
b) No deductibles or maximum limit.
c) Coverage for third party until USD 17.000
d) Civil Responsibility, for any event with a maximum equivalent of USD $17,000
e) Roll over for vehicles 4x4 will have a cost of aprox. USD $1,000
** Damages produced by an incorrect driving or driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol will be not covered by this insurance.
To complement CDW, we also offer the following optional insurances:
1) S.A.R.A: (Additional over rate in case of theft)
This insurance covers the cost of all portable elements of the vehicle,
such as radio, antenna, spare tire, etc.
Daily price including tax: USD $4
2) P.A.I: (Personal Accident Insurance)
This coverage is for the passengers of the rented vehicle. It covers up
to the amount of passengers the vehicle was designed for. If the car or
pick up was designed for 5 people, this insurance will cover only 5 people.
It has a wide coverage as detailed:
• Accidental Death : Until USD $12.000 per seat
• Permanent Inability : Until USD $12.000 per seat
• Medical Expenses : Until USD $1.200 per seat
Daily price including tax: USD $2
** Damages produced by an incorrect driving or driving under the influence
of drugs or alcohol will be not covered by this insurance.
3) S.L.I: (Supplemental Liability Insurance)
This insurance covers third party damages up to USD $88.000
Daily price including tax: USD $15
** Damages produced by an incorrect driving or driving under the influence
of drugs or alcohol will be not covered by this insurance.
** Roll over for 4WD vehicles will have a cost of aprox. USD $1.000
** Theft of rented cars will have a cost of aprox. USD $1.000
