It was so nice to actually meet you when we were in Puerto Varas on Tues, Oct 28. As you know, the Lake Crossing trip can be affected by clouds and / or rain. We were lucky and had a picture-perfect day. I've attached a couple of photos.
I have already recommended you and your tour company to a local travel agent in the Chicago area who does many international bookings. Perhaps it may generate some added business for you!

Overall, our time spent in Chile and Argentina was wonderful and we left both countries with very positive memories. Hopefully some day we may be able to return.

We got back home yesterday and I only retrieved this e-mail now.

We must compliment Visit Chile on a excellently organised itinerary, and express our sincere appreciation with all the people that were involved in making our trip a very nice experience, everybody was on time and had us transported to our various hotels and destinations.

Our hotel the San Martin in Vina del Mar was very good, the chauffeur “Cliff” that took us to Pablo Neradu’s house and Santiago was interesting, and our stay in Santiago “Orly Hotel” was pleasant. Our flight to Temuco and rented car trip to Pucon and Valdivia was nice, coming to Puerto Varas was a bit of a disappointment, unfortunately it rained heavily and we could not find the Guest House Hotel in Higgins’s street (it was not on the map we had), if we had known it was in Purisma Street it would have been easier, the Guest House Hotel was not a very good choice for us, the young lady “Sorya” that welcomed was very hospitable and charming, however the Pisco Sour welcome drink advertised but not priced turned out to be very expensive.

The boat trip across the lake was very nice, a pity that we could not get across on the Argentinean side, but the bus trip from Puerto Varas to Bariloche made up for it, our stay in Bariloche was very nice and we enjoyed the bus trip to San Martin de los Andes.

Our stay in San Martin was made nice with spending some time with our friends there. The flight back to Buenos Aires went off OK.

All in all a very pleasant experience and again a very good job done by you.
Sadly our trip back home to Johannesburg and Cape Town was marred by the loss of both our suitcases with all our clothes and the nice things we bought in Chile, SAA (South African Airlines) are trying to locate our luggage and hopefully still deliver it to us.
Chile is a very nice country to visit, the people without exception have been most friendly and accommodating with us, we shall love to return and tell our friends of Visitchile.
Pity we did not meet, we would have liked to have met with you face to face.

We are back in Greece. We all agreed that this trip was THE MOST WONDERFUL TRIP we ever made.

Chile is truly magnificent, from the North to the South. And thanks to you we had the best of everything.

The Hotels were all excellent and best among them were the EXPLORA.

I found that the Chileans were more efficient and better organized that the Argentinians. I noticed that on the crossing of the lakes and also at Los Notros,

One person I would like to recommend to you is a guide we had in Bariloche.
The cruise was wonderful in every respect, the boat, the excursions, the staff, the entertainment.

All the persons with whom you cooperate, guides, drivers are all excellent, very helpful and they never complain. Poor Jorge and Fernando in Santiago, had a very hard time with us, especially on our last day. After returning quite late from Valparaiso, they were so kind as to take us to the open air concert, in Plaza de Armas, of Placido Domingo! It was the grand finale of our trip.

I'm glad you liked the picture we took of a sunrise over Pehoe. I'm sending it and two others of Torres del Paine that I thought turned out well. You are free to use any of them on your website. The one of the sunrise is two pictures stitched together. That sunrise was fantastic! We had wonderful weather while we were there. Many of my friends that have gone there said that they saw more from my pictures than when they were there. Our pictures at Bariloche turned out well but I imagine you have dozens that are even better.

We liked Bariloche and Buenos Aires very much and the hotels there were a definite improvement from Pehoe but Torres del Paine was the high spot of the trip for me. We did more shopping in Bariloche and BA. The bus tour in Buenos Aires was a disappointment to me but the tour in Bariloche was really great. Our guide was Walter but I don't think that he does tours normally. We enjoyed the tango show (Esquina Carlos Guardel). Peter and I went to another one (Viejo Almacen) our last night. It was more intimate but not as well polished. I think that the Sofitel Madero was one of the nicest hotels that I've ever stayed at. The breakfast there was superb.

Again I want to let you know just how much all four of us enjoyed our trip. You did a super job.

Having arrived home safely I write this note to thanks you for the arrangements you made for Beatriz Sellers and myself to visit Atacama. Everything worked perfectly and the local agent was excellent. Our guide told us that Natalie had visited recently. We did in fact cut short the tour on the last day. Given that we had been up at 3.30am to go to the geysers we came back to San Pedro after because we felt to be dressed in all the cold weather gear and then tour the other villages and end up at Calama very tired would be too much and it was a right decision. We were able to shower, change our clothes and have lunch before going to the airport. Another suggestion of the guide was sensible was that you type the vouchers in English when you have English speaking customers. This would avoid occasional confusion like we had - the guide thought lunch was excluded which was not the case. It was not a problem for us as Beatriz speaks Spanish and even with my very limited knowledge I would have been able to read that but guide did say it causes problems. You may like to take that on board.

Atacama will go down as my most unique travel experience. It was fantastic and I've got many photographs that I am now in the process of editing. Those sunsets, salt flats and the geysers I shall never forget. Also the super trip we did to Villaricci and the marvellous Park Lake Hotel which we can thoroughly recommend.

First my sincere apology for not writing sooner. It has been already three months since I came back. But only now I have a few days for myself (being so busy with the new projects).
Now I would like to thank you so much for helping me in organizing my trip to Chile. It was truly a magical experience. The Easter Island was everything what I expected and more! I stayed at the Taura'a B&B run by Edith Pakarti & Bill Howe; what a fantastic hosts they are. Edith, a Rapanui, is in charge of the B&B. Bill is originally from Australia involved in movie business and serves as a tour guide between making movies. The rooms are tactfully decorated and comfortable. The breakfasts are delicious and served with care. One can see the Ocean from the front yard. I would strongly recommend Taura to anyone who wants to truly embrace the island with its incredible climate. If you have anyone interested in visiting Easter Island, please contact Edith at Tauraa@ entelchile.net
I also need to thank you for recommending Ruben. He made my stay in Santiago an easy one; moving me back and forth from hotels to the airport. Ruben told me that you left Santiago on the day of my arrival fro the Island. Too bad we had not chance to meet. The trip to Atacama Desert was also very successful; a spectacular place!
