Day 01 Monday
From your country to Santiago de Chile
Arrival in Santiago de Chile and Transfer from the airport
to the Hotel.
After a city tour of Santiago, viewing the neoclassical Moneda
Palace, built in the 18th Century and current seat of Government,
the Plaza de Armas, or main square with its cathedral, the
Museum of National History and the Central Post Office, all
with very different architectural styles. Continue to the
Parque Forestal, based on the Champs Elysee, Paris, France,
the Fine Arts Museum and Santa Lucia Hill where the city was
founded in 1541. Continue to the bohemian area of Bellavista
and climb the San Cristóbal hill for a panoramic view
of the city with the Andes mountains in the background.

Day 02 Tuesday Santiago-Valparaíso
y Viña del Mar
Buffet breakfast. Depart for the central coast traveling through
the valleys of Curacaví and Casablanca. The latter
is known for its recent success as a wine producing area and
there is a stop to visit one of the vineyards. Continue to
the coast and visit the beach area of Reñaca and the
town of Viña del Mar, known as the Garden City for
its pretty parks and flower lined streets. Visit the Gaming
Casino and the coastal road. In the afternoon continue to
the picturesque port of Valparaíso built in the 16th
century on a total of 43 hills which are reached by narrow
windy streets, staircases and a series of lifts (funiculars)
which is now declared by UNESCO as patrimony of Humanity because
of its eclectic architecture and urban development. In the
afternoon back to Santiago.

Day 03 Wednesday Santiago-Punta
Arenas-Puerto Natales
Buffet breakfast. Transfer from the Hotel to the airport in
Santiago.
Arrival in Punta Arenas and on the way to Puerto Natales,
we will visit the Pinguins Colony, 65 km away from Punta Arenas
(40 miles) on the Otway Sound, penguins come to next every
year between November until March. The species found here
is the Magellan Penguin and to reach the nesting site, there
is a walk of 2 km (1.2 miles) across the coastal land to this
sanctuary. It is possible to watch the penguins close up,
courting and caring for their young, depending on the time
of year. After arrival to Puerto Natales.

Day 04 Thursday Puerto Natales-Torres
del Paine
Buffet breakfast. Pick up from your Hotel in Puerto Natales
at 7:30 AM to begin full-day program towards Torres del Paine
and our visit to the National Park, where we will have a nice
panoramic view of “Paine” Mountain Range as welcome.
Also we will admire lakes as “Sarmiento” ,”Nordenskjold”,
and “Pehoe” . Its “fauna” will be
present through “huanacos”, “foxes”
among others and big variety of birds of easy observation
during the trip. A short trek will take us to a big waterfall
called “Salto Grande” which is part of park hidrographical
net. Later ,retaking the main way, it access to CONAF central
office, to continue to Lake Grey , where after to walk ( 30
minutes) through a “millenium” forest we will
get to its beach to admire a great number leading offs floes
from glacier .A “lunch” is included in the service
.

Day 05 Friday , Torres del Paine
Breakfast. Free day to do some hiking and explore the national
park. Many optional excursions beginning directly at your
hotel.

Day 06 Saturday Torres del Paine
Desayuno. Free day to do some hiking and explore the national
park. Many optional excursions beginning directly at your
hotel.

Day 07 Sunday Torres del Paine-Calafate
Breakfast. Departing from Torres del Paine at 6.30 am you
will be reaching the frontier pass at Cerro Castillo at 9
am to connect with the bus to Calafate at 9.45 am. Arrival
in Calafate will be at about 1 pm. Afternoon at leisure to
walk around in this small but nice village or to take an optional
city tour around the village that will take you to Nymes Lagoon,
an interesting place for bird watching.

Day 08 Monday Calafate - Glacier
Perito Moreno
Breakfast. Depart from your hotel toward Los Glaciers National
Park. The Perito Moreno Glacier, part of the Continental Ice
field. This enormous Ice field is more than four kilometres
long and the largest glacier in the world which crashes into
an inland water mass. All the time gigantic pieces of the
ice-walls break off and plunge with a tremendous din into
the Lago Argentino. On safe well-marked trails you will enjoy
various vantage points all around the glacier and the mini
trekking lasts 4 hs. and can be taken as an optional during
the Perito Moreno at Bahia Bajo de las Sombras we will take
a 30 minutes boat ride to the southwest margin of Lago Argentino
with view to the south wall of the Perito Moreno Glacier and
the iceberg channel.

Day 09 Tuesday El Calafate - Ushuaia
Breakfast. Transfer from to the Hotel to the airport

Day 10 Wednesday MARE AUSTRALIS
CRUISE
Breakfast. Short city tour to see the most interesting sites
of this city located on the shore of the Beagle Channel and
the background of the Andes . Visit to the Museum of the End
of the World. The tour visits the old area, the port and the
narrow roads that climb the hills. During the ride the different
views are nice and colourful. A visit to the End of the World
Museum is included as a chance to see the artefacts of the
primitive Ona and Yagan inhabitants and also mementoes from
the first European settlers, the Bridges and Haberton Families.
Registration takes place between 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM in the
port of Ushuaia Board the M/N Mare Australis. Welcome cocktail
and departure with destination to Punta Arenas through the
Beagle Channel and other Patagonian channels.
Day 11 Thursday CABO DE HORNOS NATIONAL PARK
Sail through the Beagle and Murray Channels to disembark in
Cape Horn National Park. Stop in Wulaia Bay, ancient indigenous
settlement.
Day 12 Friday MARE AUSTRALIS CRUISE PIA GLACIER – GARIBALDI
GLACIER
Cruise along the main branch of the Beagle Channel to Pia
Bay and stop at the Pia Glacier. Later on, the ship will continue
on through the O'Brien and Ballenero Channels, Desolada Bay,
Aguirre Passage and Cockburn Channel. Passengers will be able
to see Pía Glacier from this point.
Day 13 Saturday MAGDALENA ISLAND – PUNTA ARENAS
– PUERTO MONTT – PUERTO VARAS
First thing in the morning we will disembark on Magdalena
Island in the Straight of Magellan. After a walk to the Lighthouse,
the M/N Mare Australis will dock in Punta Arenas, where passengers
will be able to disembark beginning at 11:30 AM.
Flight from Punta Arenas to Puerto Montt
Transfer from the airport to the Hotel in Puerto Varas.
We will then go to Puerto Varas known as City of Roses because
of its beautiful gardens.

Day 14 Sunday, Puerto Varas- Bariloche
Breakfast at the Hote. We will depart on the Lakes Crossing
service to Bariloche. We will drive along the edge of Lake
Llanquihue, near the Calbuco volcano, and then enter the Vicente
Pérez Rosales National Park, from where we will be
able to see the majesty of the Osorno volcano, the waterfalls
of Petrohué river and Lake Todos los Santos. We will
sail the beautiful emerald-colored waters of this lake where
you will be able to appreciate the shore bordered by native
forests, mountains, volcanoes, hills and waterfalls. Arrival
to Peulla aprox. 1:00pm lunch optional by your own)
We will depart to cross the Vicente Pérez Rosales border
point and then by bus up to Lake Frías from where we
will sail to Puerto Blest. After a short bus ride, we will
continue sailing, crossing Lake Nahuel Huapi until we reach
Puerto Pañuelo. We will then continue on to Bariloche
by bus, leaving the passengers at the hotel in Bariloche.

Day 15 Monday , 2008 Bariloche
Breakfast at the hotel. We will take a half day tour visiting
the city, including Playa Bonita, from where we can see Huemul
Island. Later on, we will get to the foot of Campanario Hill.
You may take the chair lift to the top the hill (optional).
We then continue onto the peninsula of Llao-Llao and here
we will see Puerto Pañuelo. We will cross the bridge
to La Angostura which links Lakes Moreno, Nahuel and López
Bay. We will arrive to Punto Panorámico, a natural
balcony with views over Lake Moreno and the Llao-Llao peninsula.
Afternoon at leisure.

Day 16 Tuesday Bariloche –
Buenos Aires
Breakfast. Transfer from the hotel to the airport
Arrival to Buenos Aires and Transfer from the airport.

Day 17 Wednesday BUENOS AIRES
Breakfast. The Argentina capital boasts a population of 8
million. City tour takes you to the Plaza de Mayo for view
of Cathedral and Casa Rosada (Presidential Palace).Then along
9 de Julio Avenue, widest street in the world, with its much-photographed
Obelisk and Theatre Colon and finally, to the colourful Boca
District.

Day 18 Thursday BUENOS AIRES –
Iguaçu
Breakfast. Transfer from the hotel to the airport.
Transfer from the airport to the Hotel. The afternoon is dedicated
to enjoying the magnificent panorama of waterfalls. The spectacle
of this two-mile-wide torrential downpour—with some
cataracts as high as 250 feet—is nothing short of hypnotic.
The clouds of spray, the incessant roar, and the surrounding
luxuriant tropical growth make this an unforgettable natural
wonder.

Day 19 Friday Iguaçu
