Day
01: Punta Arenas – Puerto Natales
Arrival
in Punta Arenas and on the way to Puerto Natales, we will
visit the Pinguins Colony, 65 km away from Punta Arenas
(40 miles) on the Otway Sound, penguins come to next every
year between November until March. The species found here
is the Magellan Penguin and to reach the nesting site, there
is a walk of 2 km (1.2 miles) across the coastal land to
this sanctuary. It is possible to watch the penguins close
up, courting and caring for their young, depending on the
time of year. After arrival to Puerto Natales.

Day 02: Puerto Natales – Torres del Paine
Buffet breakfast. Pick up from your Hotel in Puerto Natales
at 7:30 AM to begin full-day program towards Torres del
Paine and our visit to the National Park, where we will
have a nice panoramic view of “Paine” Mountain
Range as welcome. Also we will admire lakes as “Sarmiento”
,”Nordenskjold”, and “Pehoe” . Its
“fauna” will be present through “huanacos”,
“foxes” among others and big variety of birds
of easy observation during the trip. A short trek will take
us to a big waterfall called “Salto Grande”
which is part of park hidrographical net. Later ,retaking
the main way, it access to CONAF central office, to continue
to Lake Grey , where after to walk ( 30 minutes) through
a “millenium” forest we will get to its beach
to admire a great number leading offs floes from glacier
.A “lunch” is included in the service .

Day 03: Torres
del Paine and trekking to Base of the Towers
Breakfast . At time to be determinated depart from Hostería
to start our guided excursion to “Base of the Towers”
(there are optional tours) . It is a trek of 8 hours (high
exigence) following the “Ascencio” River to
enter the “Ascencio” Valley by trail paths through
beech forests. After cross the forest we will start the
last part of trekking ascending a huge big rocks moraine
produced by glacier action. If weather conditions allow
it you will be a privileged visitor who can admire these
three giant “granite towers” (South, Central
and North towers) and “Torres” snow-drift. After
1 hour being awed by the landscape we will start our return
following the same path back to Hostería . A “box
lunch “ type is included.

Day 04: Torres del Paine
Breakfast .In the morning one of our vehicles will take
us to Pudeto area where we will board the boat that will
carry us across Lago Pehoe to the area of Refugio Pehoe
at the opposite side of the lake. From there, and after
2 hours of a medium demanding hike we‘ll get to the
entrance of the amazing Valle del Francés which deeply
penetrates the mountain range from the base of Mount Paine
Grande. Walking through the forest, and with the sight of
the spectacular glaciers falling from the icy summit of
Mount Paine Grande, we will get to the Italian Camp. From
there we will continue our excursion for a few miles to
go deeper into de valley. Now, if we are in good physical
condition we can continue further up to the British Camp,
a beautiful spot with an impressive view of Paine‘s
inner summits. Later on we'll begin our return to the Hosteria.

Day 05: Torres del Paine - Sailing on Serrano River
- Puerto Natales - Punta Arenas
Breakfast . At 9:00 am we begin our down stream sailing
along Serrano” River on “zodiac” type
vessel. .This sailing include all personal sailing equipment
. We will sail by approximately 4 hours along 32 kms of
river, where will be able to observe nice panoramics views
of “Tyndall”, “Geike” Glaciers,
beech native forests and a lot of everlasting snow-covered
peaks. At the end of navigation on zodiac we will approach
land on “Puerto Toro” docking area , from where
we will start a short trek to “Serrano” Glacier
crossing a native forest and the lake´s shore. A “box
lunch” type or lunch is included .At approximately
at 2:00 pm we will connect with larger vessel to return
to Puerto Natales city We estimated our arrival time at
5:00 pm. Once in the city transfer to terminal to board
intercity public bus to Punta Arenas leaving at 6:30 pm
. Reception at bus station and transfer to hotel.

Day 06:Punta Arenas
Breakfast. Transportation to the airport (at an hour to
be determined).
